Sport provides an avenue to push oneself, to make goals and enjoy the attainment of them. The added bonus is improved health and physical strength.
I joined Ultra Throw to pursue my dream of getting involved in an individual sport. I’ve always been active (still am) in team sports such as soccer and dragon boating. Competing solo scares me and I aim to conquer that fear.
My most memorable moment in throws was going to my first Canadian National Championships event in 2018, and getting two medals!
