We respect our coaches, teammates, competitors, and ourselves. We create a positive and inclusive space where everyone belongs.
Commitment
Progress comes from consistency. We encourage athletes to show up, put in the work, and take pride in their development.
Growth Mindset
We embrace learning. Mistakes are part of the process, and every training session is an opportunity to improve.
Team Culture
While throwing is an individual sport, we train as a team. We celebrate each other’s successes and support one another through challenges.
Safety & Well-being
Athlete safety is always a priority. Proper technique, structured training, and athlete wellness are at the core of everything we do.

Athlete Pathway
At Ultra Throw, we support athletes at every stage of their development. Our program is designed to provide a clear, progressive pathway—from first-time throwers to competitive athletes.
Introductory Stage
Athletes are introduced to the fundamentals of throwing in a fun, supportive environment. The focus is on learning basic techniques, movement skills, and safety, while building confidence and enjoyment in the sport.
Development Stage
Athletes begin refining their technique across one or more throwing events. Training becomes more structured, with an emphasis on consistency, coordination, and strength development. Athletes may begin participating in local competitions.
Competitive Stage
Athletes who are ready to compete receive more advanced technical coaching and structured training plans. This stage supports participation in school, club, and provincial competitions, with a focus on goal setting, performance, and continued progression.
We recognize that every athlete develops at their own pace. Movement between stages is based on readiness, commitment, and individual goals—not just age.
