Our Mission
It is the mission of the Ultra Throw Club to provide the opportunity and a positive environment for all to learn, practice and compete in all of the track and field throwing events.
We offer training and instruction in Hammer, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Weight and Super Weight. Try one, try two, or try them all!

Aldergrove’s Frances Steinfeld, 85, won two gold medals at the 55-plus BC Seniors Games, held in Abbotsford August 22-26. “This is actually the 25th [55+] games I’ve done,” Steinfeld told the Langley Advance Times.
A 75-year-old grandfather from Aldergrove won five medals at the B.C. Masters Indoor Championship in Kamloops that ran from Friday through Sunday, Feb. 25 to 27.

Jody Cranston won his masters division in the Ultra Throw Club Championships at McLeod Field in Langley last weekend, when he launched a 98-pound iron, a club record 11.5 feet at the BC track and field sanctioned meet.
“I’m addicted to this, so I take it seriously,” said Bains, 69, who won the men’s age 65-69 weight throw competition at the B.C. 55+ Games at Kelowna’s Apple Bowl.
The 78-year-old Langley resident competed at the 22nd World Masters Athletics Track and Field Championships that ran Oct. 26 to Nov. 6 in Perth, Australia.
