April 16 Ultra Throw Festival Schedule Announced
The first 2023 Ultra Throw event will take place on Sunday, April 16 at McLeod Athletic Park, Langley, BC.
BC Athletics registered Masters athletes are invited to compete in the 2023 Ultra Throws Festival #1 in Hammer, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Weight, and Super Weight. Athletes are guaranteed 6 throws per event.
PLUS the Throws Triathlon (Shot Put/Discus/Javelin) and the Throws Pentathlon (Hammer/ Shot Put/ Discus/ Javelin / Weight).
NOTE: The first 3 attempts in each event are the ones used to determine the scores in the Throws Triathlon and the Throws Pentathlon. When an individual is registered for both the Throws Triathlon and the Throws Pentathlon, the first 3 attempts are scored for the Pentathlon and the last 3 attempts are scored for the Triathlon.
Cost to enter: 1st event = $15; 2nd event = $12; 3rd & up = $10 each
