New & Improved Ultra Throw in 2026

Ultra Throw is expanding again!

What started in 2015 as a Masters-only throws program has evolved into one of BC’s most dynamic multi-age throwing communities. After introducing youth athletes in 2022 and expanding to a second practice site at Burnaby Central Secondary in 2025, we’re ready to grow again in 2026 — this time with an all-new Junior Development (JD) Program.

What’s New for 2026

We’re proud to launch a separate JD Program (limited to 20 athletes born between 2016–2013).

While the main focus remains on all four throws, the program will also include:

  • Speed work for sprints

  • Explosive leg strength training to support jumping power and overall athleticism

Because elite throwers are fast and explosive — and we train them that way.
