Megan Teolis Hits PB at Legion Nationals

Ultra Throw’s youth member Megan Teolis proved that hard work and determination pay off, delivering a stellar performance at the Legion National Youth Track & Field Championships in Calgary this past weekend.

Competing in the U18 Hammer Throw, Megan launched the hammer to an impressive 50.29m, setting a new personal best and earning 5th place nationally! At just 16 years old, she’s making her mark among Canada’s top young throwers.

Going into the competition, Megan set two clear goals: to hit a new PB and to place in the top 8. She smashed both — and left the field with a huge smile to match her big throw.

This result is not just a reflection of her talent, but also her dedication to training, refining technique, and performing under pressure. We couldn’t be prouder to see Megan achieving her goals on the national stage.

Way to go, Megan — keep throwing far!
