Ultra Throw Shows Well at BC Masters Championships

CONGRATS to Harnek Toor who tied the Canadian record in the M75 weight throw (15.20m) at the Multi-Event Meet hosted by the Greyhounds. See the results link at the base of the article. He also broke the BC Masters Record for hammer at the BC Masters Championships.

BC Masters Championship was held Aug. 21 and 22. Our Club’s footprints were quite conspicuous due to our participation in strength throws and the results produced by our members.

Eight members of our Club participated in this championship. Results achieved by everyone are listed below:

David Ulis and Mohan Bains, unfortunately, were injured, and David had to discontinue after two events. Our new members Jaswinder Pannu, Saroop Tatla and Avtar Chhina did a commendable job.

Harnek Toor broke the weight throw Canadian record with a throw of 15.34 m. He also broke the BC Masters Record for hammer with a throw of 36.53m.
