2022 Ultra Masters All Canadian Throws Awardees Announced

Ultra Throw is proud to announce the Ultra Masters All Canadian (UMAC) Throws Standards recipients for 2022!

"Each February, Ulta Throw searches the previous year’s results of all Canadian throwers from age 30 and up,” said the founder of Ultra Throw, Dave McDonald. “The list of throwers who have achieved these high standards of excellence has been compiled. We applaud you!"

"This is a club venture and is not done in conjunction with BC Athletics or Athletics Canada. It is our way to promote the ‘throws’ and to bring recognition to the many great Master throwers. It does not matter if the throwers are own Ultra Throw members, British Columbians, or from any other province in Canada – whether you live here or abroad. These performances deserve to be recognized.”

In addition, if you are on the 2022 or 2021 list of athletes who have achieved standard(s) and wish to receive a ‘certificate of achievement,’ send an email to Dave McDonald (ultrathrow@gmail.com) and a pdf of a personalized certificate will be emailed to you free of charge. See the example below.

Ultra Throw Announces 2018 Festival Dates

Shot put underway during our October 2017 festival at McLeod Park in Langley, BC.

Our 2018 Throws Festivals  are currently listed (and approved) by B.C. Athletics for the following dates: 

• Sunday, March 24 - Ultra Throw Festival #1
• Sunday, May 27 - Ultra Throw Festival #2
• Sunday, July 15 - Ultra JD Throws Festival (9 - 13 yrs)
• Sunday, July 22 - Ultra Throw Festival #3
• Sun., Sept. 29 / 30- Ultra Throw Festival #4

All festivals will be held at McLeod Athletic Park in Langley, B.C.
