Formal training resumes at McLeod Athletic Park

The Township of Langley has approved our return to play plan and the use of their facilities at McLeod Athletic Park.

Starting June 26, we’ll be out for formal training as follows until the end of August:

• Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with coaches, Mohan Bains and Harnek Toor

• Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with coaches, Mohan Bains and Harnek Toor

• Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with coach Dave McDonald

Ultra Throw Holds 2020 AGM and Elections

The Ultra Throw annual general meeting was held on September 20 at McLeod Athletic Park in Langley.

The meeting was held next to the shot put area and physical distance measures were in effect.

Congrats to the new 2020/21 executive who include the following:

• President, Jody Cranston

• Vice-President and Media Director, Robbin Whachell

• Treasurer and Past President, Dave McDonald

• Registrar, Betsy Rollins

• Director, Harnek Toor

• Director, Mohan Bains

Due to the pandemic, training has not reconvened for 2020, and start-up for 2021 was discussed. Practice is tentatively set to begin in March 2021 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m.
